severance.

severance.

Severance”

Ghosts have whispered
“could have danced”
Left prints of white shadows over the flesh of this land

Shine of December fainting
silhouettes are mirrors
Sound imagery of memories in air

pillows for mountains
Songs from a million light years away
Living stars mourn and fall to earth

Christian wisdom could’ve watched over us
forced down the rage of our pretentious mouths
Unveiled misty skies might protect the innocence

Wails of the ocean’s belly bruised below
confusion is the sea
How the hollow is an augmented friend

Quiet the light finishes wishes
In temptation our souls conjured beauty
Ultimately our brevity

Impatience is an intolerable skill
“do you watch over me?”
Ghosts have whispered…
